Working together toward a shared goal, regardless of individual backgrounds, is crucial for creating a positive global impact. Paul Rieger

Studies: B.A. Political Science

Function as a tutor:

? Social Events

? Position Paper Correction for GA 3 in New York

Motivation: My motivation to become an NMUN tutor stems from my passion for international relations and education. During my time in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya, I gained valuable regional insights. I aim to share my insights with this year’s delegation, support their preparation, and help them develop essential diplomatic and teamwork skills. I want this year’s delegates to have just as great a time in New York as I did last year.

Yannick Gebauer

Studies: B.A. Political Science

Function as a tutor:

? Chair at BaMUN and EfMUN

? Tutor for Rules of Procedere and Resolutions

Motivation: The NMUN project is a great opportunity for me to learn how to handle large groups. Instead of representing a country, I have the opportunity to prepare the delegates for the entire NMUN project to have a great experience, as I did last year. Because of my experiences last year, I want to keep the NMUN project in Bamberg alive and hope to move the project forward.

Kai Markert

Studies: B.A. Political Science

Function as a tutor:

? Tutor

? Position Paper Feedback for NY for GA 1

? Joining EfMUN

Motivation: After having had the opportunity to be part of the project last year, joining in as a tutor was the only logical step: To give something back to the project, to assist a new delegation in being as best prepared as possible for the sometimes-daunting tasks in front of them, so that at the end they can have the same transformative and unforgettable experiences as we had.

Magnus Wirth

Studies: B.A. Political Science

Function as a tutor:

? Tutor for Student Representative

? Position Paper Feedback for NY for PBC

Motivation: Having experienced NMUN Bamberg as one of the most exciting elements of my studies, I decided to stick to the project as a tutor. Generally, I have been motivated by the idea of introducing new students to the UN and sharing my knowledge on Model UN-related tasks. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to fly to East Africa for a Rwanda study trip, which allowed me to share my regional knowledge with this year’s delegation that will represent Rwanda at NMUN-NY 2025.

Xiaoyu Fan

Studies: M.A. English and American Studies

Function as a tutor:

? Photo and Video Material

Motivation: I became a tutor for NMUN because the program has been a deeply meaningful journey of growth and discovery for me. The unforgettable memories and transformative experiences inspired me to continue contributing by helping others thrive in this unique environment. I hope to guide new participants, witness their personal growth, and share in the creation of new beautiful moments together.

Josephine Ehmke

Studies: M.Sc. Economic Psychology

Function as a tutor:

? Joining EfMUN

Motivation: In my year as a delegate, I aimed to learn more about international politics and diplomacy, broadening my horizons, challenging myself in public speaking and rhetoric, and meeting and exchanging ideas with new people. Having achieved all that and more, I now hope to support this year’s delegation in doing the same – and have some good fun while I’m at it!

Miriam Büttner

Studies: M.Sc. International Business Administration

Function as a tutor:

? Application Assessment

Motivation: Being part of the NMUN Delegation 2023/2024 was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. NMUN allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the UN and develop the skills required in today’s international environment. Helping this year’s delegates to navigate the challenges of NMUN is a true joy. I am excited to see them grow both personally and professionally.

Jasinta Then

Studies: M.A. Strategic Communication

Function as a tutor:

? Application Assessment

Motivation: As I was a delegate last year I really wanted to give the project "something back", because all tutors invest so much of their free time for my delegation. On top, I was really interested to change the perspective and be on the other more "organizational-side". I also wanted to share my experiences and perspectives on the project and the whole conference-simulation-role playing game.
