As Board Chair, Annette Scheunpflug is deeply involved in the work of Global Education Network Europe (GENE), the network that brings together Ministries and Agencies in Global Education. Roundtables, country reports and peer reviews on global education are its core elements. In addition to our chairmanship, we participate in roundtables, contribute to GENE publications and have successfully acquired GENE research awards.

A highlight in 2022 was the adoption of the European Declaration on Global Education to 2050, which we were heavily involved in drafting.
