Prof. Dr. Corinna Kleinert ist seit Januar 2015 Inhaberin der Professur für Soziologie mit dem Schwerpunkt l?ngsschnittliche Bildungsforschung an der Universit?t Bamberg und am Leibniz-Institut für Bildungsverl?ufe e.V. Nach ihrem Studium der Kommunikationswissenschaft an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit?t München war sie von 1995 bis 2000 wissenschaftliche Referentin am Deutschen Jugendinstitut (DJI). 2003 schloss sie ihre Promotion zum Dr. phil. im Fach Soziologie ab, die durch ein Stipendium der LMU München unterstützt wurde. Danach arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der LMU München, bevor sie 2003 eine Stelle beim Institut für Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsforschung (IAB) in Nürnberg antrat.

Die Forschungsinteressen von Corinna Kleinert liegen im Bereich der ?berg?nge zwischen Schule, Ausbildung und Arbeitsmarkt,  der Geschlechter- und Ungleichheitsforschung sowie der Surveymethodologie. Sie war an der Entwicklung verschiedener gro? angelegter Erhebungen beteiligt, darunter der DJI-Jugendsurvey und die IAB Studie ALWA ("Arbeiten und Lernen im Wandel"). Vor ihrem Wechsel ans LIfBi leitete sie die Forschungsgruppe am IAB, die für die Bildungsetappe 8 "Bildung im Erwachsenenalter und lebenslanges Lernen" des NEPS verantwortlich zeichnet.
