Studies at Two Universities

Principle

In principle, it is possible in Bavaria to study at two universities at the same time, provided you do not wish to study two degree programmes with restricted admission.

Cooperation with the Universities of Bayreuth, Erlangen-Nürnberg and Würzburg

In the cooperation agreement between the northern Bavarian universities of 19 December 2008, the universities of Bamberg, Bayreuth, Erlangen-Nürnberg and Würzburg agreed to coordinate their range of subjects and to cooperate in the training of early-career scholars.
This cooperation is meant to ensure a broader and more diverse range of subjects.
