Developing a Faculty for Teacher Education
The aim of these structural measures is to institutionally enshrine teacher education at the University of Bamberg, beyond the Centre for Teacher Education.
In order to strengthen teacher education in a structurally sustainable manner, we endeavour to create a study faculty. Our steps toward this goal are as follows:
1. Stimulating discussion surrounding the framework and chances of creating a study faculty.
2. Realising a nationwide conference on models of study faculties/professional schools ("Modelle von Studienfakult?ten/Professional Schools").
3. Creating a model in accordance with the faculties and committees of the university, as well as the ministry.
4. Establishing a faculty.
