Software Technologies Research Group

The Software Technologies Research Group is part of the Department of Computer Science within the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Sciences at the University of Bamberg. Its scientific interests centre around the development and analysis of complex software systems and embedded, safety-critical systems. The group conducts research on several aspects of model-driven development, parallel programming and automated verification, and is engaged in the teaching and transfer of modern methods in agile software development, requirements engineering and software testing. Both the group’s scientific direction and its team led by Professor Gerald Lüttgen are international.
