Brief Biography
Silvia F?rtsch was initially employed as a research assistant at the Chair of Statistics and Econometrics in 2015. Since September 2020, she has been employed as a lecturer for special tasks at the Chair. She studied educational sciences at the Fernuniversit?t in Hagen from 2008 to 2011 and empirical educational research at the Otto-Friedrich-Universit?t in Bamberg from 2011 to 2014. At the same time, from 2012 to 2020, she was significantly involved in gender research projects such as alumnae tracking, career coaching in STEM and coaching network at the Women's Representative of the Faculty of Information Systems and Applied Computer Science. Silvia F?rtsch completed her doctorate in sociology in 2020 under Prof. Dr. Sandra Buchholz.
