Student Councils (Fachschaften)

The student councils represent the students on the faculty level. They are your immediate contacts for problems with your studies. They are elected in the summer semester, but anyone can join them.

Political groups

These groups represent the student's interests in the Student Parliament. They compete in the university elections and are closely related to political parties.
