With increasing digitalization, industrial companies and cross-company value creation systems are changing fundamentally. The course aims to create an understanding of the data-driven company on the one hand and the process of digital transformation on the other. The change from the traditional product-oriented to the data- and service-oriented company is presented and explained for different key dimensions. A tool for measuring the digital maturity of a given company is developed and applied in an accompanying case study.
